OpenAI has introduced a groundbreaking feature, the GPT Store, for ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise users. This store showcases a diverse range of custom-built GPTs spanning categories such as DALL·E, writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle. Noteworthy GPTs include trail recommendations from AllTrails, academic research with Consensus, and coding tutorials from Khan Academy. Users can easily create and share their GPTs in the store without requiring coding skills, fostering a community-driven ecosystem.
The GPT Store presents a user-friendly interface within the ChatGPT client, accessible to premium subscribers. A community leaderboard categorizes popular and trending GPTs, enhancing user engagement. The launch features free-to-use GPTs, like a trail recommender from AllTrails, a coding tutor from Khan Academy, and a content designer from Canva. Developers can leverage OpenAI's GPT Builder tool, which allows them to specify desired capabilities in plain language, simplifying the GPT creation process.
While initial access is free, OpenAI plans to introduce a GPT builder revenue program in Q1, enabling U.S. builders to earn income based on user engagement with their GPTs. Developers seeking to list GPTs in the store must verify their profiles and submit their creations to OpenAI's review system, combining human and automated review processes to ensure compliance with terms of use. The company's commitment to transparency includes future details on payment criteria and a continuous effort to address concerns related to the human element in the GPT Store review process.

If you don’t have access to the GPT store, don’t worry. Access is being done as a rollout. Previous rollouts have taken weeks, so just be patient!
Here’s a quick demo of how the store works:
For users subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise plans, accessing the GPT Store is simple. Just open the sidebar and click on "Explore GPTs." Here's what it looks like:
You can browse any GPTs as long as they’re public. If you don’t have anything in particular in mind, you can explore Top Picks in Writing, Productivity, Research, and more:
Typing any of them is very easy! Just click on the GPT and then follow the instructions by the builder.
News Of The Week 🌍
CES 2024 is undeniably dominated by AI innovations this year, with a wave of advanced products reshaping the tech landscape:
1. Holoconnects' Holobox: Revolutionizing digital communication, this AI-powered marvel offers a mind-blowing glimpse into the future.
2. Baracuda's Smart Mirror: Infusing AI and natural language processing, this mirror adapts to users' moods through light therapy, guided meditations, and affirmations.
3. Samsung's Smart Robot Vacuum: Integrated with AI, it intelligently detects stains and distinguishes between various surfaces for optimal cleaning.
4. Rabbit's r1 AI Companion: Resembling a Tamagotchi, this device simplifies digital tasks using AI agents, making daily interactions more seamless. The Rabbit r1 is a groundbreaking AI device featuring the innovative Rabbit OS, a natural-language operating system powered by a Large Action Model. With dimensions of 3 x 3 x 0.5 inches and a weight of 115 grams, this pocket-sized companion, developed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering, boasts stand-alone functionality over Wi-Fi or cellular networks (4G, 4GLTE, and 5G) via its SIM slot. Equipped with a MediaTek MT6765 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, the r1 marks the dawn of a new era in human-machine interaction, according to Rabbit's founder and CEO Jesse Lyu.
Honestly a very cool refreshing concept, but it would essentially be just a secondary device to smartphones, which already have Google Assistant or Siri onboard. What this shows is that smartphones will soon be redesigned around AI. And it’s a good start!
5. Samsung's Ballie: A multi-functional home assistant in a round robot, Ballie not only performs tasks but also features a projector for videos, calls, and more.
6. Invoxia's Minitailz: An AI-powered pet wearable, Minitailz monitors vital signs and notifies owners of potential health issues, marking a significant leap in pet care technology.
7. LG's Rosie: This adorable home robot AI agent takes on chores and seamlessly integrates with LG's smart home appliances, adding a touch of charm to household assistance.
