Why Use AI for Customer Research?
If consumer insights are the door that leads to business success, then I would call AI tools the universal lockpick. Algorithms are really good at processing big data. With the right tools and prompts, you'll have no problem finding your target audience.
That's what we're going to talk about today.

Here are a few reasons to use AI for consumer insights:
Speed and scale: AI can process colossal amounts of data in a fraction of the time it would take humans to do the same.
Real-time analytics: It is impossible to track all the trends manually. AI platforms can analyze data as it's created, providing real-time feedback.
Predictive analytics: Understanding the past and the present is good. However, algorithms can also predict future customer actions and requests.
And, as we realized with the case study below, it is also noticeably cheaper than ordering relevant research from third-party agencies and consulting companies.

Alex Berman's Real Use Case
If these examples don't seem practical, here's a simpler real-life case study by creator Alex Berman. He is a young blogger, creator, and founder of the startup Galadon.io.
This company, by the way, helps its customers create their own AI in less than 10 minutes. But that's a story for another newsletter by Creators AI. :)
In one of his videos, he said that the number of trial subscriptions on his platform started to slow down and reached a plateau over time. Alex realized he needed to change something and attract more customers. He decided to customize his landing page according to the target audience's demands and used ChatGPT.
Using a chatbot, Alex compiled a list of customer's pain points and prepared a post for Reddit to find out what questions users were interested in. Then, he used ChatGPT to compile a list of answers to popular questions and objections. Finally, he used a chatbot to create targeted marketing campaigns.
Here are a few prompts he used with GPT-4 to prepare for the targeting strategy:
First go to galadon.io and learn what it is and then write me a Reddit post full of all the issues of a business owner that is trying to grow his business. Some tracktion and decent money coming in but let’s say grow is stuck at 1% mom and he wants 100%
Now as the director of marketing for Galadon.io (bing search this first). Tell me how galadon will help him. By hyper specific and do a chain of beliefs
Now as the customer give me a ton of excuses or bad beliefs around all these topics. Then break each belief down with powerful examples etc for galadon
Can you make me a list of what the ideal Galadon user worries about the most? In their words and how Galadon solves it? In the most persuasive wat possible this is a reference sheet for the sales and marketing team
All of these actions took the creator no more than 15 minutes. At the same time, Alex said similar marketing research could cost up to $30,000.
