Intro
As we talk about AI, AI is learning to talk about us. Yes, technology has gone from annoying and monotonous robotic voices to truly impressive standards in just a few years. Now, we find it increasingly difficult to distinguish between a real person and generated speech in advertisements, call centers, and social media.
The field of generative AI for voices is really growing. There are more and more offerings and more demand. This means AI is opening a new door to boost existing revenue and create new revenue streams. Let's review a few case studies on how voice AI is helping creators find new ways to monetize content.
In the end, you'll get a quick tutorial on how to set up a popular AI Tool.
Learn more about how to earn more with AI in social media:
Case 1: Using AI to create audiobooks
Creator: Amy Suto
AI Tool: Wondercraft AI
How do you feel about audiobooks? I'd say it's not my cup of tea (sometimes it can be hard to focus when you can't see the text in front of your eyes), but it's hard to overstate the interest in this format of content consumption. People love audiobooks.
The creator of our first case study, Amy Suto, understood this well. Amy is a writer, digital nomad, and entrepreneur who shares her accomplishments on social media. Her talent and AI Tools have helped her earn over $200,000 in less than two years.
To build on that success and share it with others, Amy wrote a book called Six-Figure Freelance Writer (I think you know what that means) and started selling it on Amazon. Sales were quite good, but Amy decided it wasn't good enough. So what did she do? (Oh man, I spoilered that in the subheading).
Yes, she applied AI to turn her book into an audiobook in one evening.
Here's what Amy herself says about the process:
Instead of having to spend hours recording myself reading the book in a sound booth and then hiring an audio specialist to edit and mix it, I saved so much money and time by just dropping my book draft into Wondercraft AI and having it read it for me in my voice — and it sounds exactly like my own voice, no one can tell the difference.
And yes, it worked. Wondercraft AI created an additional way for Amy to make money at virtually zero cost. And now she continues to work as a copywriter and entrepreneur, but with the experience of voicing an entire audiobook!
Interestingly, Amy also uses Wondercraft AI to create content for her own podcast. But that's a story for the next time. (By the way, next time is waiting for you in the second case study.)
